Hola people! Another week went by and we are moving to the end of another eventful month. A number of events marked the June of 2016 and internet broke time and again over Brexit, Demi Lovato’s one-day detox from social media and US elections. Bringing to you the top posts of last week to keep your interest animated and jolly in the world around you.
First thing’s first, Mark Zuckerberg has declared in complete support to the LGBT community by celebrating the Gay Pride Month. For all those who still refuse to accept the charisma of Snapchat, the platform is being put to use by brands like never before. Qantas Airlines becomes the latest brand to invade the platform following the footsteps of many others, such as Commonwealth Bank, Oak and Westpac. The company will share content every fortnight and will use the space to showcase their employees’ life at the job to the public.
With so much happening around Brexit and the hubbub of EU Referendum, Twitter decided to roll out its own emoji to capture on the event’s popularity. The emoji was launched to make sure people don’t miss out on the voting deadline and the platform itself turned out to be an effective channel for registration.
And with this ends the flow of Social Frenzy over the internet for the week gone. We are very sure this week will turn out to be as eventful as its predecessor.
Until then…fanzine, news, social media, world updates
